A quick addition to the dinner table.
Small pearl onions, peeled 2lbs
Boiling salted water
Butter or hard margarine 3 tablespoons
Honey
3 tablespoons
Salt
sprinkle
Pepper sprinkle
Cornstarch 2
teaspoons
Water
1 tablespoon
Cook onions in about 2 inches (5cm) boiling water until tender. Drain
Stir butter and honey together in small bowl to mix well. Add to onions. Heat and stir slowly until glazed.
Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Stir. Remove onions.
Mix cornstarch in water. Stir into remaining liquid to thicken. Return onions to saucepan. Stir. Servies 6-8
