A Quick And Easy Casserole For Left Over Turkey
Canned Asparagus Pieces, Drained
12oz
Cooked Turkey, cut up 2cups
Cheese Sauce:
Butter or hard margarine 2
tablespoons
All purpose flour
2 tablespoons
Salt
1/4 teaspoon
Milk
1/4 cup
Grated medium or sharp cheddar
1/2 cup
Condense cream of chicken soup 10
oz
Topping:
Butter or hard margarine
1 tablespoon
Dry bread crumbs 1/3
cup
Grated medium or sharp cheddar
2 tablespoons
Arrange asparagus in bottom of greased 1 1/2 quart (1.5 L) casserole. Spread turkey over top.
Cheese Sauce:
Melt butter in saucepan. Mix in flour and salt. Stir in milk until it boils and thickens
Add cheese. Stir to melt
Add soup. Stir until smooth. Pour over turkey
Topping:
Melt butter in saucepan. stir in bread crumbs and cheese. sprinkle over top. bake uncovered in
350f (175c) oven for about 25 minutes until hot and browned. Serve 4-6
